COVID has caused disruptions, heightened stress, and lessened empathy in the workplace.  These disruptions negatively impact individual and team performance.  Human Resources has a tremendous capacity to be intentional leaders, influencing every aspect of an organizations culture.  In order to be effective in promoting positive and productive workplaces for employees, HR needs to assess problems, and understand how to intervene - by facilitating conflict resolution, by coaching employees on a course of action, by serving as role models, and by supporting management and leadership.  Participants will have an opportunity to participate in break outs using case studies.

    Learning Objectives:

    1. Describe a continuum of conflict and its impact on individuals, teams and organizations
    2. Assess your organization on positivity and productivity, pre-COVID and in the present
    3. Learn a feedback model, and a model of behavior change which will help create positive and productive organizations.
    4. Practice with real life case examples to deepen your ability to assess and intervene with conflict.
