    Our speaker will provide strategies and considerations for Connecticut employers managing employee leaves of absences, both during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.  Attendees will learn the various laws and regulations governing employee leaves, including the impact of forthcoming changes occasioned by the Connecticut Paid Family and Medical Leave Act.
    • Review laws and regulations that may require employers to provide leaves of absences to employees.
    • Discuss the Connecticut Paid Family and Medical Leave Act, including amendments to the Connecticut Family & Medical Leave Act, as well as wage replacement benefits available through the Connecticut Paid Leave Authority.
    • Discuss managing COVID-19 related leaves of absences.
    • Discuss managing leaves of absences in a remote working environment.
