    Inclusive benefits are the right thing to do: They maintain employee health, prevent disease, promote equality and help everyone feel their contribution and health is valued.  This session will provide a perspective on research and trends in Total Rewards approaches integrating compensation, health benefits, professional development and recognition.  With expertise spanning municipal, corporate, and not-for-profit organizations, panel members and attendees will explore how to ensure their benefits policies and practices are more inclusive by first getting the policies right through a formal approach. 

    The gains from such benefits can accrue to specific employee groups, but also employees more broadly.  There are solid business reasons for inclusive benefits: An edge in attracting and retaining employees, a value proposition that resonates with consumers and other stakeholders, and increased innovation and performance in times of disruption and transformation.
