    This program will be a review of recent developments in employment law, federal statutory and regulatory enactments, and court decisions issued over the previous year that have impact on workplace policies and protocols.

    About the Speaker:

    Holly L. Cini is a Principal in the Hartford, CT office of Jackson Lewis P.C..  As an employment law specialist, Holly partners with clients to navigate all aspects of the employer/employee relationship, from advising on workplace interactions to defending litigation of complex legal issues. 

    Holly has decades of experience representing clients in lawsuits alleging violations of virtually all employment laws including Title VII, the FMLA, the ADA, and the ADEA; she has represented clients in trials before juries and judges in state and federal courts, administrative agencies and the American Arbitration Association.  Holly also counsels employers on various workplace issues including leave management, paid sick leave, sexual harassment, and related matters. 

    In addition to her litigation and counseling practice, Holly specializes in multi-state reductions in force and corporate investigations.  Her approach is a practical one: she works closely with all of her clients to understand their business, their risk tolerance, and their desired outcome in each situation and she works tirelessly to achieve that result.  Holly understands that the client-lawyer relationship is not just about defending lawsuits but is a partnership encompassing all aspects of workplace management, including training, proactive risk management, and litigation avoidance.
