2025: New Year – New Challenges – New Opportunities for the U.S. and Connecticut Economies
The national and Connecticut’s economies have shown remarkable stability despite turmoil in much of the rest of the world:
- Job openings remain high
- The unemployment rate remains low
- Job growth has slowed but jobs are still growing
Come learn about:
- Which industries are growing fastest, and which are lagging?
- How are wages growing compared to the inflation rate?
- How demographic changes in the population are affecting the labor force.
- How does the “new normal” since the pandemic compare to the pre-pandemic economy and what does that mean for the future?
