About our speaker:
As an attorney with twenty years of experiece, the emphasis of my practice is defending employers in state and federal court and in administrative forums on a variety of employment law issues, including age, disability, sex and race discrimination, sexual harassment, invasion of privacy, free speech, defamation, wrongful or retaliatory discharge, breach of contract, wage and hour, workers’ compensation, unemployment compensation and family leave act matters. I counsel employers on a range of employment issues including employee handbooks, drug testing, employee discipline and payment of wages. I regularly conduct seminars on numerous employment law topics, including sexual harassment awareness training, employee handbooks, privacy issues and disability discrimination issues for clients and the business community. I also served as a Law Clerk (Intern) to U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge Thomas P. Smith.
